Walk MS

Walk MS brings together a community of passionate individuals to connect and raise funds to change the world for everyone affected by MS. On April 29th and 30th, participants can choose to walk at 11 different locations across northern and central NJ; enjoying the NYC skyline view or walking along the NJ boardwalk. Last year, nearly 800 teams came together to raise almost $1.4 million in honor, memory, and support of those affected by MS.

Ending multiple sclerosis for good will take all of us. Walk MS helps us team up with friends, loved ones and co-workers to change the world for everyone affected by MS. Together, we become a powerful force. And with every step we take, every dollar we raise…we’re that much closer. Together, we will end MS forever.

Join us for Walk MS: Clark 2017 on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Story Time Yoga @ Cranford Public Library
May 1 @ 10:15 am – 11:15 am
Story Time Yoga @ Cranford Public Library | Cranford | New Jersey | United States

Join us for “Story Time Yoga” featuring Lisa Ferraro. This engaging 8-week story time promotes literacy while getting children up and moving! Children ages 2-5 will use props—like balls, scarves, pinwheels and pom-poms—to build strength, flexibility, and self-confidence through play. The program mixes poses, games, storytelling, art and music to teach children to release the sillies and find the calm. The class begins on Monday, April 17 at 10:15 and will run weekly through June 12, with the exception of May 29, when the library will be closed for Memorial Day.

Yoga is a wonderful outlet: it encourages play while providing children with an opportunity to express themselves in a safe environment. It’s also an excellent way to learn healthy physical and mental habits that can be practiced for a lifetime!

Registration is not required, but we ask that participants arrive on time as latecomers are not guaranteed admittance. Admission is free and all Cranford residents are welcome.
