The Cranford Police Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) works around the clock to ensure Cranford remains one of the safest communities in Union County. Members of the CPU team conduct target area investigations, initiate community policing programs, perform residential and business security surveys, present safety and security lectures, engage in preventative unmarked patrols, and assist with and conduct Internet and High Tech investigations.
