    The Jumble Store located at 110 Walnut Street in Cranford will re-open for the 2014/2015 year on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00am. The Jumble Store has new hours this year: open Wednesday and Friday 11am-5pm; Thursday 11am-8pm; Saturday 10am-5pm; and closed Sunday through Tuesday. The Jumble Store serves as the primary funding source for the Career Closet, which provides FREE career wear to women re-entering the workforce; the Teen Closet, which provides resume and college application instruction, and FREE career wear to underserved high school seniors; and college scholarships to deserving high school seniors. Mark your calendars for our upcoming special sales! The Jumble Store will have Halloween Costumes available on Saturday, September 13th (over 300 costumes - the savings are tremendous!) and Saturday, October 11th the annual winter coat sale begins. The Jumble Store is owned and operated by the JLEP, a non-profit womenís group committed to promoting community service and developing the potential of women through the effective action and leadership.     You are invited to Books & Bagels, a book chat program. The format is simple. Bring a few of your more recent favorite books and tell the other members of the group what you like about them. The books can be new or old, fiction or non-fiction, classic or contemporary. There is no required reading, and you will have the opportunity to learn about books recommended by other group members. Plus, refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Cranford Public Library! Registration is NOT required. Attend as many or as few sessions as you like.     The Westfield Area Y is pleased to announce a NEW Sports Nutrition Class this fall at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield. The class begins on September 8th and will be held on Mondays from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm for four weeks. The class is instructed by Heather Marino-Garcia, MS, RD and NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. She will offers sports and fitness enthusiasts valuable information on how to properly fuel-up before, during and after their workout. Participants will learn which foods and drinks provide energy and when and how much to eat and drink. Sport specific-nutrition tips will be offered to help you perform better, stay healthy and feel great!
