The program will be presented by Trish Chambers, who is the author of “Civil War Women: Their Roles and Legacies” (2005). The program was arranged by the library and the Cranford Historical Society. Part of the “Civil War 150 Project,” it is presented by the Library of America in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and is supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
